This website operates a telephone line and an online request form for water damage help in Cape Coral and Lee County, Florida. Requests are passed on. Nothing shown on this site is performed by Cape Coral Water Damage Restoration: no extraction, no drying equipment, no damage assessment, no mold remediation and no repair. Each job is carried out by an independent restoration company working locally, the partner to which that job is assigned, and responsibility for the inspection, the written estimate, the equipment, the technicians and the standard of the finished work rests with that company and with nobody else.

The obligation to be permitted sits with that company too. It, and not this website, must hold whatever licences, permits and registrations the State of Florida and the relevant local authorities require of the work it performs, must carry its own insurance, and must answer to the offices that grant them. Repair and rebuilding after drying generally falls under contractor licensing administered by the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation, and mold assessment and mold remediation above the size described in Chapter 468, Part XVI of the Florida Statutes are licensed activities of that same department. Cape Coral Water Damage Restoration holds no licence of any description, asserts none, and gives no assurance that any company's licence, insurance or certification has been checked on a caller's behalf.

A licence number is supplied on request: by telephone when you call this line, or by the company when it contacts you ahead of the visit. It is not printed on these pages, because the number is the company's own to give out and its business records are private to it. Anyone receiving a number should confirm it independently through the licence search published by the Department of Business and Professional Regulation before repair work begins, and should ask the City of Cape Coral, or the Lee County building division outside the city limits, about permits and about any substantial-improvement determination affecting the address. Certifications held by individual technicians come from industry bodies and are not state licences. Nothing published here constitutes a guarantee of insurance coverage, of a claim outcome, or of when a crew will arrive.
